The View announced as final act to play at Delamere Forest this summer

PINT-SIZED Scottish rockers The View have been confirmed as the final act appearing at Delamere Forest this summer.

The Dundee band, who are renowned for their raucous performances, will play the woodland venue as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music 2010 on Sunday, July 4.

With two successful albums behind them – number one debut Hats Off to the Buskers and follow up Which Bitch – the sometime controversial stars, who have had hits with Wasted Little DJ’s and Same Jeans, have firmly established themselves as one of the most exciting and on-the-edge indie bands about.

Tickets for the gig cost £25, subject to booking fee, and are on sale from Thursday, April 29.

For more information ring the Forestry Commission box office on 01842 814612 or buy online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music

Other acts already announced for the Forestry Commission Live Music at Delamere in 2010 are Simply Red on Friday, July 2 and James Morrison on Saturday, July 3.
