Frodsham and District Choral Society concert at St Laurence’s Parish Church

CROWNING Glories, a concert by Frodsham and District Choral Society, will be performed at St Laurence’s Parish Church at 7pm on April 24, as part of the society’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

The programme includes Parry’s I Was Glad; Handel’s Zadok the Priest, Rutter’s Gloria and Elgar’s Coronation Ode.

They will also perform a new choral work, Frodsham 800: We Still Live Here, with music and lyrics by Matt Baker and local poet Andrew Rudd, in celebration of Frodsham’s milestone anniversary.

Tickets cost £8, concessions £6, and are available from Frodsham Frames, Main Street, or Nikki Hankey on 01928 718246.
