Network Rail strikers will see Merseyrail trains from Liverpool to Chester and Ellesmere Port cancelled

STRIKERS from Network Rail will see Merseyrail trains cancelled next week.
Trains from Liverpool to Chester and Ellesmere Port will stop at Hooton from Tuesday, April 6 and Friday, April 9.
Merseyrail spokesman Rudi Boersma said: “We will be affected if it goes ahead.
“At the moment we will run trains from 8am to 7pm, but there are a number of exceptions.
“No trains will be able to run between Hooton and Chester and Hooton and Ellesmere Port, or Liverpool Central and Hunts Cross.”
Rail replacement services will not be in place due to the number of services affected.
