Tarporley Primary School children raised £280 for Sport Relief
TARPORLEY pupils took to the golf course not to practice their swing, but to walk a Sport Relief mile.
Tarporley Primary School pupils, along with teachers and helpers left school and walked across the fields to Tarporley Portal Golf Club, on Cobblers Cross.
They then walked for a mile around the golf course.
Bursar Jenny Christian said: “The children really enjoyed themselves, it was lovely weather and the ideal conditions to go out for the walk.”
The school children raised more than £280 in sponsorship for Sport Relief.
