A MAN suffered serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car outside Countess of Chester Hospital.
Cheshire Constabulary officers closed a section of Liverpool Road at its junction with Mill Lane.
The incident occurred at 9.20am today (Tuesday, March 23), it is not yet known how many other people are involved although it is understood the man was struck by a blue Vauxhall Corsa.
The 59-year-old victim was taken to the nearby Countess where he is currently being treated.
The Chester-bound carriageway of Liverpool Road is still closed.
