Weaver Vale Primary School pupils visit a Formula 3 testing day at Oulton Park

PUPILS at Frodsham Weaver Vale Primary School were invited to a special behind the scenes look at a Formula 3 testing day at Oulton Park.

Year 5 and Year 6 students from the Ship Street school visited the Little Budworth track on Wednesday, March 10, to find out more about motor racing and technology.

Headteacher Kerry Jarvis said: “They had a tour of the circuit facilities including a behind the scenes look at the race control building, a talk on British F3 and a closer look at some of the cars that will be racing in the series this year, there was a special introduction to how race tyres are made.

“They also had the opportunity to meet some of the drivers and get their autographs.

“I’d like to thank Oulton park for providing such a wonderful opportunity for our children.”
