THE keys to Sir John Deane’s College new multi-million pound development were handed to staff last week.
The Northwich sixth-form and adult education establishment, which attracts students from the Chester area, has been transformed by the first phase of huge redevelopment plans.
College principal Andrew Jones said: “This is an extremely proud day in our long history. Our beautiful new building is a fantastic asset and our students can now enjoy working in state-of-the-art facilities.”
The college’s Sports Dome and temporary classrooms have been replaced them with a new building which includes an integrated learning resource centre with library, careers centre and IT facilities, plus new classrooms.
