Pupils take part in Music Manifesto National Singing Programme at Chester Cathedral
CHILDREN’S voices rang out in Chester Cathedral this week as part of a national event.
Pupils from Lache, Huntington and Tushingham primary schools took part in an afternoon of singing.
The activity was part of the Music Manifesto National Singing Programme, which was set up to enable all children to enjoy singing, regardless of background or ability.
Each school group learned a song which was performed with cathedral choristers.
The simple service was attended by representatives of the Muslim and Jewish faiths as well as the Roman Catholic Church.
