North Wales Police visit Saltney Ferry Primary School
SALTNEY Ferry has a new police station - at the school.
Children from the nursery and reception classes at Saltney Ferry Primary School are creating their very own police station, following an informative visit from North Wales Police.
Teacher Helen Barclay explains: “We are working on a project about people who help us and we already have a fire station.”
Police officers rolled up at the school in a squad car and on horseback to tell the youngsters about their role.
Helen added: “The children got so much out of it. They were surprised how hard the seats are in the back of the car and they got to put the sirens and the lights on.”
