Chester Cathedral on TV

CHESTER Cathedral will hit our TV screens this month and next.

The magnificent Creation Window in the refectory will feature in Songs of Praise at 6pm on Sunday 21 March as part of a feature on stained glass.

Pam Rhodes launches a search for the nation’s favourite stained glass window and the refectory window, which dates from 2001, is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of modern stained glass.

On Sunday, April 18, the cathedral will feature on The Antiques Roadshow at 7pm.

This is the second episode filmed from Chester Cathedral, the first having been broadcast soon after recording.
