Woman alleges she was sexually assaulted at Chester nightclub

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young woman alleged she was sexually assaulted in a Chester nightclub.

The 23-year-old woman says she was assaulted about 1am on Saturday (March 13) while inside RBs nightclub in Northgate Street, Chester.

A 36-year-old male was arrested and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who was in RBs at the time and who can assist police with their investigation is asked to call Detective Constable Andrea Price of Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
