Mother’s Day event at Chester Library with poets Jo Bell and Joy Winkler

CHESTER central library is offering an evening of stories, sayings and poems to celebrate Mother’s Day this Friday evening.

Performers Jo Bell and Joy Winkler present Never Throw Stones at Your Mother at 7.30pm.

The duo talk about the struggles and triumphs, the little battles, the moments of pleasure and the great shared journey.

Jo Bell was Cheshire Poet Laureate in 2007 and Joy Winkler held the same post in 2005.

Tickets are £6 or £10 for two, including refreshments, from the information desk at the library in Northgate Street.
