NURSERY children enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year.
Sunshine Day Nursery, Tarvin, spent a day marking the event.
Daisy Darke, a parent of one of the children, went in to talk about the year of the tiger.
She wrote the children’s names in Chinese and they made tiger masks and Chinese fans and enjoyed chicken chow mein for lunch.
The children also took home a fortune cookie and a pair of chopsticks.
Manager Lisa Kay said: “All the children had a lovely day. This was a fantastic opportunity to see and hear about other countries.”
