Eight Spanish athletes visit youngsters at Halton and Frodsham Harriers

A TEAM of eight athletes from Spain visited Halton and Frodsham Harriers last week.
The Spanish children and Harriers team – all U13 girls – took part in a Sportshall Athletics event at Birmingham’s NEC Arena and enjoyed another get-together and buffet at The View in Frodsham, where they put on an athletics display for town councillors Brian and Christine Lloyd, Dennis and Pammi Taylor and mayor Cllr Geoff Bath.
Cllr Bath and Harriers presented their guests with mementoes of Frodsham, and received in return a Spanish flag signed by the visiting children and their teachers.
