A RURAL PC wants residents to report problems as soon as possible.
PC Ged Gigg covers the Tarporley and Utkinton area.
He said: “I am regularly only hearing about incidents and issues which are affecting the quality of life of residents after the incident.
“The problem is that most of the reports, whether in person or through the parish councils, are some time after the incident and the matter has never been reported to the police.
“Therefore I am not aware of the matter to deal with things in a timely manner.”
PC Gigg added: “Please can I ask if there are quality of life issues that I need to be aware of please ring 0845 4586377 or email Gerard.Gigg@cheshire.pnn.police.uk.”
If an incident is on going or has just happened, people are asked to call either 0845 4580000 or 999 to get the most appropriate response.
