CHINESE New Year was celebrated in authentic style at a primary school.
The language department from the Queen's School, Chester visited Farndon Primary School with an authentic Chinese dragon as part of the festivities. Year 5 children danced with the dragon and their teacher Mr Brown who found it was heavier than he expected.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were invited to watch the dance, learn some Mandarin and listen to the story of Chinese New Year.
Teacher Sarah Wakefield said: “All at Farndon look forward to working with Queen's School again and thank them for their generosity in sharing their wonderful resources with us.”
