Dorin Park School in Chester receives Green Flag awards

DORIN Park Special School in Chester has been presented with a special award to recognise its initiative and work in recycling and sustainability.
The students recycle the majority of the books, uniform, plastics, ink cartridges, paper and card.
They grow their own vegetables and assist in the maintenance and appearance of the school and its grounds.
Pupils are involved through the school council in making major decisions.
The Green Flag award is only achieved after gaining the bronze and silver awards.
