Cheshire travel agent wins award

A TARPORLEY travel agent won a silver award in a prestigious travel competition.
Prestbury Travel, an independent and family run Cheshire travel agency and tour operator, was recently nominated for two National British Travel Awards. They were nominated in the best cruise holiday retailer category and for the small travel retailer of the year in which it won a silver award.
Gil Wilson from Prestbury Travel, said: “It is a huge achievement in the present financial climate and when the internet is major competition.”
The agency is currently running a number of open days on featured destinations. The next will feature South Africa on March 23.
