X Factor star Olly Murs coming to Chester nightclub

X FACTOR runner-up Olly Murs will be playing at Cruise nightclub, Chester, on Friday, April 9.

Millions tuned in to the X Factor final to see Olly narrowly miss out on the top spot to Joe McElderry.

Essex boy Olly was mentored by X Factor creator Simon Cowell and was popular with fans for his slick dancing and stand-out performances of hits such as Stevie Wonder’s Superstition on the show.

Fresh from the sell out X-Factor live tour, Olly is expected to perform to a capacity audience at the city nightspot.

Cruise operations director, Nick Harding, said “Since launching the pre-sale tickets on Monday, we

have sold more than 150 tickets in two days. I am confident this will be a sell-out in the next couple of weeks.

“I have kept the ticket price very low to give great value to our customers as a thank you for their support over the last year and a half.

“Olly will be performing live in the Svenksa club room on the night, and people will have the chance to meet and greet Olly after his performance without any extra charges.”
