Tarvin Sunshine Day Nursery children enjoy visit from PCSO Debbie Netherton
CHILDREN have been learning about staying safe.
Sunshine Day Nursery children welcomed police community support officer (PCSO) Debbie Netherton on Friday (February 12) as part of their topic on people who help us.
PCSO Netherton spoke to the children about stranger danger as well as taking their fingers prints and show them her uniform.
The children then had great fun trying out the siren on the police car.
Nursery co-owner Tracey Armstrong said: “We are very grateful to Debbie for coming to visit us and talk about stranger danger.
“The children will spend the next few weeks on the topic and we hope to get in touch with the fire service too.”
