Farndon historian Mike Royden writes book about Liverpool and genealogy
AN HISTORIAN is inviting readers to trace their family tree in his new book.
Mike Royden, a well-known author who recently relocated from Liverpool to Farndon, near Chester, hopes that Tracing Your Liverpool Ancestors will be a big hit with the Cheshire and Merseyside public.
But rather than just being a guide to genealogy, Mike has included a history of the city itself, including sections on shipbuilding, estates, public health, housing and migration. He has also created many local history websites, including one for the village of Farndon, which he is delighted to call his new home.
Tracing Your Liverpool Ancestors is available to buy from all major book retailers and is priced at £11.99.
