Cheshire Police appeal for information on Hoole assault

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Hoole.

The incident took place on Thursday, February 11, at about 11.30pm.

A 19-year-old man was walking down Maple Grove, Hoole, when he was approached by a man who grabbed him.

The teenager struggled with the man and received a wound to his leg from an unknown object.

It is not known in which direction the attacker ran off in.

The man was described as white, in his late twenties, about 6ft tall and of stocky build.

He was clean shaven, with defined cheekbones and wore a black, zipped up hooded top, dark blue jeans and white pumps or plimsols.
