Cheshire firefighters aim to break safety record

CHESHIRE Fire and Rescue Service is aiming to complete 1,000 Home Safety Assessments in one day!

Wednesday February 17, is Cheshire Safety Day and firefighters and community safety advocates will be joined by partners, sporting celebrities and elected members as they go from home-to-home offering life-saving advice.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service’s deputy chief fire officer Mark Cashin said: “Cheshire Safety Day will not only seek to pass on potentially life-saving advice to another 1,000 homes, it will also hopefully highlight what we do on a daily basis and the difference it is making.”
