Views sought on OAP village in Tattenhall

MEMBERS of the public are invited to view plans for a care village for the elderly in Tattenhall.

The complex, proposed for Frog Hall, will create more than 100 jobs and 160 homes for pensioners.

The Bolesworth Estate launched its continuing care retirement community concept last week.

The plans will be available at The Barbour Institute, Tattenhall, tomorrow from 3-7pm and Saturday from 10am-1pm.

Land agent Matthew Morris said: “Everybody is welcome to come and see the proposed plans for the scheme.

“We will be delighted to discuss the exciting opportunities this presents for the village and in particular the older residents living locally.

“English Care Villages and their development partners will also be on hand to answer any questions.”

If planning permission is granted by Cheshire West and Chester Council the village, including a restaurant, hairdressers and library, may be completed by 2013.
