The College of Law in Chester is inviting aspiring lawyers to an open day

ASPIRING lawyers are being invited to an open day at the College of Law in Chester.

The open days at the Christleton centre are open to those interested in pursuing a career in law, an insight into its training courses and the legal profession.

Law degree students and graduates are invited to the open days on February 13 and 24 for law degree students and graduates, and on March 27 and April 14 for non-law degree students and graduates.

Would-be lawyers can speak to tutors and current students and find out about the different areas of law in which to practice.

Courses on offer at the college include the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), giving non-law graduates an entry route into the profession, and the Legal Practice Course (LPC), the next step towards a career as a solicitor.

Tricia Chatterton, business development director (North), said: “Our open days provide an ideal opportunity for people contemplating a career in law to see for themselves the modern facilities and first class tuition on offer at the College of Law. Our strong links with the North West legal community, state-of-the-art teaching methods and highly motivated staff give students the best possible start to their careers.”
