Kelsall Brownies given safety message by Cheshire West and Chester Council’s community wardens

ROAD safety was on the agenda for brownies who regularly use their bicycles.

The 1st Kelsall Brownies were met by community safety wardens from Cheshire West and Chester Council who delivered a road and cycle safety workshop.

Warden Rachel Bentham said: “The girls designed cycle helmets and learnt about the importance of wearing bright clothing whilst out on their bikes.

“Last year we spent a lot of time in the city centre so now we are getting out to rural areas. Hopefully this will be something we can do throughout the year. We are working with brownies towards them earning safety badges.”
