Flintshire’s first Secondary School Street Dance Festival held in Connah’s Quay
YOUNGSTERS from St David’s High School in Saltney strutted their stuff at Flintshire’s first Secondary School Street Dance Festival.
The event, at Connah’s Quay Civic Hall, saw schools from across the county competing in a team event for Years 7, 8 and 9 and also duo and quad events.
There were also demonstrations from professional dancers.
The festival was organised as a result of the success of street dance as part of last year’s Festival of Youth Sport which saw more than 700 children from primary and secondary schools took part in this activity.
