Bishop Heber High School win Chester and District hockey tournament
BISHOP Heber High School, Malpas, girls triumphed at he Chester and district indoor hockey tournament.
Six teams from the area competed at under 15 level for the title.
Heber started with a 3-0 win over Abbeygate before defeating King’s School 2-0.
In the semi final after some end to end play, Heber beat Queen’s School 3-0.
They then went on to defeat King’s School again in the final 4-0, taking their chances well.
School sports coordinator Jayne Haggis was delighted for the girls, as they had kept a clean sheet in all games and scored some very skilful goals.
