BUDDING dieters are being offered a new psychological programme to help them think and behave like a naturally slim person.
A group of friends in Chester has hired Vanessa Heaps from the Why Are You Eating? programme to pay a visit to their home one evening per week, to teach them a range of practical ‘slim behaviours’.
The seven-week programme teaches participants about the psychology of weight loss and the underlying reasons why people are overweight.
The social sessions include a mixture of theory, discussions and exercises.
Vanessa said: “It’s great to spend the evening chatting with a friendly group about weight issues, and even better to able to give them tools to take away each week to give them the control over their food and eating.
“At the end of the seven-week programme, they are thinking and behaving in a completely different and positive way around food, and have lost weight in the process!”
To attend the Why Are You Eating? programme with a group of friends, family, work colleagues or as a community, visit Vanessa’s website at www.whyareyoueating.co.uk or call her on 07854 573136.
