Lache residents urged to tune into Lache FM and send in Valentine’s Day messages

LACHE listeners are being urged to tune their radio on to Lache FM this week, as the station makes its return.

The station is broadcasting until Sunday and is inviting residents to send in their Valentine’s Day messages by calling 01244 675280, for the chance to have them read out live on air.

The daytime shows provide community information and feature interviews with local service providers, and news of local initiatives such as adult learning, enterprise coaching, university courses, youth involvement and community forums.

In the evening, the station becomes more music-orientated with local bands played and some live music from the studio.

Also, listeners who hear Lionel the Lache lion roar any time during the broadcasts can contact the station for a chance to win a prize.

Enterprise coach Stefan Nicholls will take to the airwaves, helping local people get their ideas off the ground with support and advice.

Lache FM is supported by the Lache Park Ltd charity, Lache Neighbourhood Management, and Lache Enterprise Coaching.

Residents can listen at 87.7FM or online by visiting the www.lachepark.co.uk website and following the links.
