POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Cheshire.
A 22-year-old man was assaulted after a verbal argument in the Coachman pub, Chester Road, Hartford.
The man suffered facial injuries as a result of the attack, which took place at about 9.30pm on Saturday, February 6.
He was treated at Leighton Hospital.
A 23-year-old Middlewich man has been arrested and bailed until March.
Police are appealing for witnesses in the pub, or anyone with information, to contact Northwich CID on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
