Seek careers guidance in Cheshire and you could win gym pass or beauty treatment

IF YOU are looking for careers guidance or someone to talk to about your job prospects in Cheshire, now’s the time to seek it out.

Throughout February and March, nextstep in Cheshire are offering the chance to win either free gym passes or a beauty treatment at a local salon and all you have to do is seek careers advice to be entered into the free prize draw.

Nextstep is a face to face adult careers service. Advisers offer free guidance to anyone 18 or over, they are based in all Connexions Centres across Cheshire and an appointment is not always necessary.

In order to be entered into the draw you need to visit your local centre, speak to an adviser and agree an action plan.

There are no difficult questions to answer and it doesn’t take more than about 20 minutes for the initial consultation.

Next Step development consultant; Mark Mifflin said: ‘The current economic climate has seen more and more people out of work and struggling to find new employment.

“Nextstep advisers can help run through your options using your interests and skills to plan your future career, they can also assist with finding training and preparing or updating your CV, all free of charge.”

Everyone who meets with an adviser and gets an action plan will automatically be put into the draw which will take place towards the end of March.

The beauty treatments include a variety of pedicures and manicures from Tranquillity at Mid-Cheshire College, Inspirations at South Cheshire College and The Academy at Warrington Collegiate
