PUPILS at local theatre school Theatretrain are making final preparations for their forthcoming production of The Golden Pathway Annual.
The play is a series of connected sketches following the life of Michael Peters from the age of 2 to 23. It is a nostalgic look back at the period from the end of the Second World War to the 1960s.
For Michael Peters the Golden Pathway Annual seems to be the perfect companion, but as he grows up he discovers the many contradictions that can wear out a grown up person.
There are four versions of the play being presented on four consecutive evenings at The Forum Studio Theatre in Chester.
The first two presentations will be by the 9-12 year olds whilst the Thursday and Friday performances will allow the 13-18 year old groups a chance to show off their skills.
