ROB Lloyd Racing, the successful horseracing yard based in the heart of Cheshire, has welcomed the UK’s leading equipment and support services provider Speedy on board as a new sponsor after signing a two year deal.
Owned by property tycoon Rob Lloyd, the company boasts state-of-the-art stables providing all the latest facilities and refinements dedicated to the comfort, safety and training of its racehorses.
Speedy was founded in 1977 and employs 4,000 people, with an operation spanning 400 depots throughout the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.
The group provides specialist support including training to a range of clients covering construction, infrastructure, industrial, and related industries.
Rob Lloyd said: “We are delighted to welcome Speedy on board at such an exciting time. Our trainer Pat Morris has got off to a good start with several winners already this year so we are expecting a great season which can only be of benefit to Rob Lloyd Racing and our new sponsor.”
Steve Corcoran, chief executive at Speedy, said: “Speedy are very excited to be working with Rob Lloyd Racing and one of Britain’s most popular sports.
“We will use this opportunity to engage with new and existing clients from our marketplace within a good quality environment.”
