A 20-year-old was attacked twice in Chester city centre by the same man

A MAN was attacked twice by the same man in the early hours of Saturday morning (January 30) .

The 20-year-old victim was left with minor injuries after the two assaults which occurred between 1.45am and 2.30am.

The first assault took place on Foregate Street near to the junction with Frodsham Street and the second attack occurred on Northgate Street opposite the library.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault.

Police spokesman Jason Murray said: “The offender is described as white male of about 19 years of age. between 170cm to 175cm tall, of skinny build, with short blonde hair. He was wearing a black nylon jacket with a red stripe down each arm, and he was wearing dark jeans.”
