Manchester soul band René and rising star Kristyna Myles will be playing for free at Alexander’s, Chester

TWO of Manchester’s soulful emerging artists are playing for free at a Chester bar.

Jazz and soul band René and singer songwriter Kristyna Myles will be taking to the stage at Alexander’s, Rufus Court, on Sunday at 8pm.

Bolton band René, inspired by the best of the Britfunk era and funk soul legends of decades past, will be joined by Kristyna Myles.

She has performed her songs on BBC One, toured across Europe and recently supported Mick Hucknall on his UK tour.
