Frodsham Manor House Primary School pupils hold entrepreneurial day
ENTREPRENEURIAL pupils at a Frodsham primary school are hoping their money- making ideas will fund a trip to London.
Year 6 children from Frodsham Manor House Primary School presented their fundraising schemes to a Dragons’ Den-style panel with a range of ideas including car washing, a school magazine, bag packing, a music CD and athletics days.
Assistant headteacher Sarah Harris said: “We held a young entrepreneurs scheme for our Year 6 children.
“There were five groups and each group was given £10 which they then had to use to set up their scheme.
“It was an exciting opportunity for the children to use teamwork and to gain as much money as possible.
“The teams had to use their presentational and persuasive skills and show their schemes to a Dragons’ Den panel.”
All the events will take place between February and Easter and any money the teams raise will go toward the school’s trip to London in May.
