Cheshire Society of Architects elects new president at its AGM

THE Cheshire Society of Architects has elected Andy Foster of Chester-based Andy Foster Architects as president at its annual meeting.

Mr Foster said: “2010 and beyond will be an interesting time to be involved in architecture as, hopefully, we emerge from the recession.

“The profession has been one of the worst hit in the downturn and it is important we continue to debate and promote the quality of the built environment, especially in our own backyard.”

Mr Foster set up Andy Foster Architects in 2004. The office is located in Tudor House, Lower Bridge Street, Chester.
