A LITTER-PICK to clear rubbish left from sledgers at a local beauty spot was a success on Saturday.
The 4th Frodsham Scouts, their leaders and a couple of other community-spirited residents responded to Helsby resident Lance Yates’ appeal for help to clear the debris from farm fields around Frodsham Caves in Manley Road.
The group spent Saturday morning collecting the rubbish which was collected from the roadside by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
