Chester University Amnesty International group to stage picket outside Shell service station and the town hall

AN AMNESTY International group based at the University of Chester is to stage a double picket in the city tomorrow (Wednesday, January 27).

The Amnesty International UK Chester University Group aims to highlight human rights concerns in the Niger Delta

The group will be gathering outside the Shell petrol station in Liverpool Road and the town hall in the centre of Chester.

Wearing white boiler suits with dirty hand-prints on them, the group will be highlighting their concerns which they say are caused by the actions of oil giant Shell.
