Frodsham businesses invited to mentor event at The Heath Business and Technical Park, Runcorn

A SUPPORT group for businesses is inviting companies in Frodsham and Helsby to a buddy event on Tuesday.

The free event is being staged by Halton Chamber of Commerce at The Heath Business and Technical Park, Runcorn, at noon.

Former Knowsley Chamber chairman and enterprise champion Tim Dugdill, who is leading the scheme, said: “The project is designed to give all small businesses, especially new and fledgling firms, access to experienced business people who will act as mentors.

“They will not be substitute financial advisers or trainers but will be able to offer unbiased and constructive advice to enable firms to improve and become more successful.

“The event is designed primarily for businesses interested in benefiting from a buddy link, but potential mentors are also very welcome to attend too.

“Our role is to connect people and help smaller firms raise their game for the benefit of the whole community.”

Organised by Halton Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Enterprising Halton, the business buddy mentoring scheme aims to provide free support on a one-to- one basis for small firms across the borough, not just Chamber members.
