Countdown to Deeside Ice Skating Club’s 2010 production
THE young stars of Deeside Ice Skating Club are preparing to wow the crowds this weekend with two sell-out shows.
The group’s 2010 production, Rockin’ All Over the World, takes place at Deeside Ice Rink in Queensferry on Saturday and Sunday – and there are still a handful of tickets left.
The spectacular will feature music from around the world and includes visits to the fantasy kingdoms of Atlantis, Oz and Fairyland.
Director Joanne Murray is hoping the new show will be as popular with audiences as last year’s Happy Ever After and 2007’s Once Upon a Time.
“We’ve got 85 kids taking part and we’ve been rehearsing since September,” she said.
“It’s been quite a feat getting everybody organised, but it’s all coming together and it’ll be brilliant in the end!”
Performances of Rockin’ All Over the World take place at Deeside Ice Rink on Chester Road West, Queensferry, at 4.45pm on Saturday and at 5.15pm on Sunday. For tickets, priced £8 and £6, call 01244 845440.
