Chester pub evacuated after air-conditioning fault
CUSTOMERS were evacuated from a city centre pub after an air-conditioning unit in the cellar began smoldering.
Fire crews were called to the Red Lion at 2.30pm on Friday (January 15) where they found a thick layer of smoke in the cellar.
They isolated the unit before calling an electrician to determine the fault.
