Witness appeal after teenager mugged in Chester street

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an 18-year-old man was mugged in the street.

The victim, from Liverpool, was carrying a Playstation 3 console and a Dell laptop computer when he was approached by three males about 2.30pm on Sunday (January 10) on Sunday.

One of the males asked if he was willing to sell the games console and laptop. When the victim refused, he was pushed to the ground and had the items taken from him by the men who ran off down Saughall Road in Chester.

Fortunately, the victim was not seriously hurt.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the crime to come forward.

The first robber is described as white, approximately 20 years of age and of slim build. About 5ft 8 tall, he had a very skinny face, with a dimple in his chin. He was wearing a black plain hooded top with the hood up. He was also wearing a black neck warmer, black tracksuit bottoms and scruffy white trainers.

Police say the second offender is white, about 18 years of age and of a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded coat with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and black pumps, with white lines on them.

The third wanted male is black, approximately 20 years of age and of slim build. He was about 5ft 11 tall, he was wearing a black hat with a New York logo on it and also a distinctive black hooded top which had pink and yellow pattern squares on the front. He was wearing black baggy jeans.
