Police appeal after teenager mugged in Chester

A TEENAGE boy was punched and robbed in the street.

The victim, from Hoole, was forced to hand over a £10 note after being struck in the head by an offender who approached him from behind. He was shaken but uninjured.

Accompanied by a 14-year-old girl, the victim was walking along a path that leads from the Limewood Fields foot bridge on to Oaklea Avenue at Kingsway, Chester, about 7.30pm on Sunday when incident occurred.

The male attacker is described as white, aged 16-19 years, stocky build and about 5ft 11in in height. He was dressed in jeans which had a distinctive 'Henleys Project' logo on the rear.

He was wearing a black or blue zip up jacket and a grey neck warmer, which concealed the lower half of his face.

The offender ran away over the footbridge with a second male who is described as white, aged 16-19 years, of skinny build and about 6ft in height. He was wearing jeans and a dark coloured jacket.
