Queen’s School sporting stars share Tweddle trophy

YOUNG sporting stars who represent their country have shared a special trophy.

Charlotte Allwood (sports acrobatics Wales), Victoria Anderson, (lacrosse England) Olivia Corbett (equestrian Wales) Jennifer Moore (badminton England) Emily Noden, (swimming Great Britain) and Sarah Grace Spencer (ice dance Wales) won the Queen’s School Home Nations Trophy at the 2009 prize-giving.

The trophy was donated by world champion gymnast Beth Tweddle, a former pupil at the school.

Some of the lucky winners got the chance to meet Beth during a surprise visit to the school.
