Chester Catholic High School success in gymnastics competition

CHESTER Catholic High School girls topped the medal board at the third annual Chester and District Gymnastics competition.

High schools taking part included Bishops Blue Coat, Bishop Heber, Kings, Queens, Abbey Gate, Upton and Queen’s Park High.

Students completed floor exercises and the vault.

Catholic High School Year 8 students won gold with Year 9 taking silver.

PE teacher Miss Westhead, who organised the event, said: “It was a fantastic and successful day providing a great opportunity for school gymnasts to display and compete with students from local schools”
