Chester Bootcamp course launched for women aiming for post-Christmas detox at Boughton Heath Primary School

WOMEN hoping to shed the pounds they may gain during the festive period can take part in an intensive exercise bootcamp launching in January.

Fitness instructors Jane Makin and Carly McKay have set up the Chester Bootcamp scheme for women hoping for a post-Christmas detox.

The eight-week course will take place in Boughton Heath County Primary School, Beckett’s Lane, Boughton, with exercise sessions twice a week.

The programme focuses on building healthy lifestyle habits with regular and varied exercise.

Bootcamp trainer Carly said: “We include food diaries and measurement record cards so recruits can track their progress and monitor their eating habits.

“A winter detox is perfect after Christmas, when we all over indulge, and is in line with the government’s healthy lifestyle promotion, through their Change4Life scheme, of which we are a local partner.”

Chester Boot Camp runs one-hour sessions on Tuesdays at 7.30pm and Fridays at 5.30pm, with the course costing £50 per person.

For more information, call Jane on 07861 215256 or Carly on 07730644187.
