CHILDREN at Overleigh St Mary’s CE Primary School were seeing double for this year’s Christmas production.
The Handbridge school is one of the largest in the county and youngsters shared the leading roles in their special adaptation of the Christmas classic The Nutcracker.
Jordan White and Saul Foye-Burns took turns in playing the role of the handsome prince while Anna Wearden and Hannah Bowen shared playing the story’s heroine Clara.
Joined by more than 300 other children, the couples then took the audience on a magical journey overseas in search of the Kingdom of Sweets.
