Revellers are being asked to look after their friends over the Christmas period.

POLICE are urging Christmas revellers to keep an eye on their friends.
Sgt Andy Pickup from Cheshire Inner NPU said he has already witnessed the consequences of people over-indulging at Christmas parties in the city centre.
Sgt Pickup said: “Some of the persons involved were given advice and assisted to get home whereas others were provided with free accommodation by Cheshire police overnight. Unfortunately, some have a leaning to drinking too much and put themselves in vulnerable situations.
“If you have friends that may be susceptible to this please keep an eye on them and ensure they get home safely.”
